Can you duplicate a key without the original?
Often yes. For most house and office locks we can decode or pick the lock and originate a working key from scratch.
Do you cut car keys with a chip?
Yes. We cut the blade and program the transponder or fob to your vehicle on site.
Can you copy a "Do Not Duplicate" key?
Only with proof that you are authorised — usually the property owner or a listed keyholder. Restricted keys need the system owner's permission.
How long does a key copy take?
A standard house or office key takes a couple of minutes. Transponder car keys take longer because of the programming.
What if the copy does not turn smoothly?
We test every key in your lock before leaving, and recut it there and then if it is not perfect.
How much does a spare key cost?
It depends on the blank and whether a chip is involved. We quote before cutting — no surprises.
